Discover HOPP
What HOPP is, who it’s for, and how it works.
What exactly is HOPP?
HOPP is an app designed by sports physiotherapists to help you understand your injury and follow a personalised rehabilitation programme, wherever you are.
See how it works
Does HOPP replace a physiotherapist or a doctor?
No. HOPP is an information and support tool designed by sports physiotherapists, but it does not replace a doctor’s opinion. For any specific health question, consult a professional.

Who is HOPP for?
For everyone, athletes or not, who wants to understand their injury and get back to activity with confidence, with or without parallel in-person follow-up.

How do I know if HOPP is right for my injury?
The initial test tells you within a few minutes whether your situation matches what HOPP can support, or whether it’s better to see a health professional directly.

Do I need to already know what’s wrong before I start?
No. If you can’t name your pain, you simply indicate the affected area on a body diagram: HOPP then helps you get a clearer picture.

Does HOPP work on mobile and on computer?
HOPP is designed primarily for mobile, to support you anywhere, including before or after a sports session. A web version is also available.

Injuries and care
What HOPP can cover, and its limits.
Which injuries can HOPP help me understand?
HOPP covers injuries of the musculoskeletal system and lower back: tendinitis, sprains, muscle pain, shin splints, back or knee pain, explained by our sports physiotherapists.
See the injuries covered
How does HOPP help me understand my injury?
A short video, filmed by one of our physiotherapists, explains in plain language what’s probably happening in your body, with no medical jargon and without worrying you unnecessarily.

What happens if my pain doesn’t match any listed injury?
HOPP then directs you to a medical consultation rather than offering you a programme that wouldn’t be suited to your situation.

Can HOPP help me avoid a relapse?
Yes, that’s one of the core goals of the method: helping you understand your injury so you can manage your return better and reduce the risk of getting hurt again.

Programmes and personalisation
How your programme works day to day.
How is my programme personalised?
Your programme is built around your specific injury, your sporting level and your goal, then adjusted every day based on how you feel after activity.
See the steps of the journey
Does the programme really adapt to my sporting level?
Yes, from recreational athletes to elite athletes: difficulty, load and return-to-play goals are calibrated to your profile.

How long does a HOPP programme last?
The duration varies depending on the injury and your actual progress, generally from a few weeks to a few months, up to your return-to-play assessment.
Understand the full journey
What happens if I miss a session?
Nothing serious: your programme adjusts for what comes next. HOPP is there to support you at your own pace, not to put pressure on you.
See my daily check-in
Can I do the exercises without equipment?
A large part of the exercises use just your body weight. Some more advanced programmes may suggest light equipment, always optional given the alternatives offered.
See a sample session
How does my programme evolve over time?
Difficulty increases gradually based on your actual recovery, never at random, up to sport-specific return-to-play training.
See the return-to-play step
Can I change my goal partway through the programme?
Yes, your goal (regaining mobility, running pain-free, returning to competition) can be adjusted at any time from your HOPP space.
Manage my goal
How do I know if I’m ready to get back to sport?
A return-to-play assessment objectively evaluates where you stand before giving you the green light, so you return neither too soon nor too late.
